Hugh Neilson
Hugh became an independent contractor to KRP in 2013 as our Director of Taxation Services. He has over 30 years of public practice experience, providing tax consultation in many diverse areas. His focus is on income tax services for individuals and owner-managed private corporations.

Experience
Hugh provides consultation services to taxpayers and their advisors on a wide array of matters related to personal and corporate taxation. His diverse experience includes areas such as estate planning, immigration/emigration, US income tax compliance, corporate share structure, planning for business succession, business acquisitions and disposals, planning and implementation of business structure, and much more. Hugh was the 2014recipient of CPA Canada’s Award for Excellence in Income Tax and a 2017 recipient of a CPA Canada Volunteer Recognition Award.
