KRP is the largest local, independent, full-service accounting firm in Alberta. But that doesn’t mean we’re only about spreadsheets and number crunching.

Rooted in Alberta

We come by our entrepreneurial spirit honestly. Our founders started out in 1945 by opening up the small accounting firm of Kule Peach & Co. By 1988, they’d grown the firm significantly and become Kule Pasnak Anderson.

Meanwhile, the accounting firm of Brown and Ross was established in 1976 and quickly grew to become Kingston Ross in 1980.

On January 1st, 1990, these two firms merged to set us on the path we’re on today as Kingston Ross Pasnak.

Building and sharing knowledge

The core areas of our business — accounting, assurance and income tax consulting — have stayed constant over the years. But with a solid foundation to grow from, we’ve been inspired to keep building and expanding our services. Today, our expertise allows us to provide clients with a full spectrum of business and financial support services.

KRP serves a diverse range of businesses, organizations and individuals from a variety of industries. Our clients count on us to build meaningful connections and take the time to truly understand their goals. We’re committed to providing the excellent service, superior knowledge and forward-thinking strategies to help them achieve those goals.

Our people are the core of what we do. We’re proud to be a large firm, with 17 partners and over 150 staff members. But we ensure we never lose touch with our local connections or welcoming, responsive culture.

This focus affects everything we do — from the attention we give our clients, to the open environment we create for staff members, to the time and support we give to charitable organizations in our community.
